Job Description
Reports to: Area Manager
Job purpose:
Retail merchandisers are responsible for following the specific instructions and guidelines for each individual assignment.
This is a part-time position and work is available on an as-needed basis.
Merchandisers must be able to work at a fast pace, work well independently and within a team, and can read a plan-o-gram. They should also have reliable access to email and the Internet in order to access their Merchandiser Web Portal to view their assignments, accept work, and report completed work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting fixtures/display to planogram
- Stocking shelves
- Taking inventory/writing credits
- Installing or removing fixtures
- Cleaning displays
Specific Job Skills:
- Be able to conduct a reset independently
- Must have an active email address
- Must have the ability to report all assignments within 24 hours of work completion
Computer Skills:
- Ability to access email and Internet
- Mobile App use
- Data Entry
Physical Demands:
- Requires standing for up to 6-8 hours per day
- Bending and reaching
Work Environment:
- Various retail locations; specific departments vary between soft-lines (cosmetics and apparel) to grocery (dry and refrigerated) and hard-lines (furniture, etc).
Additional Information:
- Must be flexible with hours available
- Must be willing to travel within assigned area and outside of area for training or special projects
